Here's the schedule for the Children's Theatre season, sponsored by Towne Bank.
Subscriptions will be available in August. Shows run from October to May. Subscriptions are $25 for all 4 shows. Single Tickets, available in September will be only $8 each. (Single tickets may have a $3 per-order fee.)
Follow comic duo Lenny and Mabel down the yellow brick road to the land of Oz and meet all of your favorite characters along the way! Gain courage with the Cowardly Lion, take heart with the Tin Man, and find your wits with the Scarecrow in this fun interactive retelling of the L. Frank Baum classic.
Dance at the ball with Cinderella and challenge the giant with Jack and the Beanstalk as these stories come to life in front of your very eyes! Fun and interactive, this show is great for younger audiences or anyone who is young at heart.
Imagine that the bones and fossils of ancient dinosaurs could come back to life — what stories they might tell. Well, there's no need to imagine any more as Rainbow Puppet Productions presents "The Really Big Dinosaur Show
Through original songs and the use of over twenty giant puppets, the time of the dinosaurs appears on stage. The program features an eight-foot-tall T-Rex and another dinosaur that's over 16 feet long. (It's not called "The Really Big Dinosaur Show" for nothing!)
Our local Children's Theatre has a wild show for young people based on the amazing stories surrounding American (real-life) Icon Davy Crockett! Stories so fun, that Disney made a whole series about the "king of the wild frontier" (ask your grandparents!)
